24/7 monitoring ⏰ : It is one of the best-monitored volcanoes in the world. The INGV in Catania registers even the slightest movement via measuring stations.
Keep a safe distance from lava flows ✋🏼 : The classic lava flows usually move very slowly and only affect the uninhabited summit areas – there is no danger for the lower-lying campsites. So everything is relaxed 🥱😎

Camping
We are a small, nature-based campsite with 16 pitches and 4 hammocks. We place great importance on a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
Besides our nature campsite, there are a variety of hiking trails , including the popular hiking trail to extinct craters such as Monte Manfrè and Monte Sona.
Hiking
Self-sufficient without external power
We live self-sufficiently and provide for ourselves thanks to solar and power stations. We offer electricity for charging phones and laptops.
